Baba Marta is a mythical character in Bulgarian folklore. In folk beliefs represented inproverbs and tales, her name is associated with the name of the month "March". Threemonths are personified in the mythic present Bulgarian - January, February and March.January and February are like brothers with hot character - Large and Small beetle beetle.Baba Marta is considered to be their sister, who is now smiling and well-intentioned, sometimes unpredictable evil.
With Baba Marta and March connect many rituals and celebrations dedicated to the coming spring. The most famous custom associated with Baba Marta is decorate their cloths ofyoung people and animals Martenitsa (twisted white and red thread) March 1 - the day ofthe arrival of Baba Marta. Throughout the month is out rituals for chasing snakes and lizards, and predictions relating to certain migratory birds.

Elitsa Todorova supported campaign Look at the child in Varna

Hundreds of children smiles comming with campaigns "Look at the child" - an initiative of the National Association of orphans.
Sports school "George Benkovski" in Varna Bulgaria hosted on the occasion of the feast day of the Christian family. In the company of singer Elitsa Todorova athletes Kubrat Pulev and Armen Nazarian and small children Graces of the Municipal Complex, kids from homes for children deprived of parental care from Varna, Stara Zagora, Veliko Tarnovo, Pleven, Shumen and Dobrich, be entertained for hours .
Today 21.11.2011, 18 hours in the Festival Centre will be held a discussion meeting on "Prospects for adoption and foster care-taking of children deprived of parental care in Bulgaria." Elitsa Todorova will be perform concert with Vassil Petrov and 30 children from Varna.
